Mr. JEN Hong Marshall

Marshall is the Managing Partner of FiBI Advisory and Research Institute, a family business advisory firm that specializes in succession planning that utilizes AI-assisted technology. The name of his company, “FiBi,” derives from the pronunciation of his mother’s name (Phoebe), which stands for Family-in-Business intelligence and it signifies his dedication to providing intelligent solutions and insights to support and nurture the unique dynamics of family enterprises.

Growing up from a family business setting, he has come across many sizable conflicts and has always been passionate about setting alignments and building growth for family businesses. With over 15 years of experience in the family advisory and education industry, Marshall left his family business in 2019 to pursue a journey in family business research and advisory with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Centre for Family Business, now in the capacity as their Executive Director. His research focuses primarily on Succession Planning, NxGen Learning and Development, Business Family Leadership, Corporate Governance and Entrepreneurship.

Remaining committed to his educational roots, Marshall serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director for The Canadian International School in Singapore and The Kingsley International School in Malaysia. He is also an active committee member of the Education and Youth Development committee of the HKSAR Home Affairs Department (Kowloon City District), further contributing to his passion for education and youth development.
